2017 ABGA Roving Specialty
The 2017 American Brussels Griffon Association (ABGA) Roving Specialty is part of the Old Fort Cluster which runs 11/2 – 11/5. The show site as ample parking for all types of vehicles and there is also a motor home park for exhibitors arriving early.
The ABGA Specialty will be Saturday, November 4th, 2017. The judge is Ms. Pam Dehetre and the Sweepstakes judge is Mr. Rodney Vance. The location is the Allen County War Memorial Coliseum. This is an excellent climate controlled venue with ample parking space. There will be reserved grooming space for the Brussels Griffons. Also offered on Saturday, November 4th, 2017 is Canine Good Citizenship, Eye Certification Clinic and AKC Judging Junior Showmanship Seminar. On Friday, November 3rd, 2017 there will be an ABGA Judges Education Seminar. On Sunday, November 5th, 2017 a Junior Handler Clinic will be offered by the Professional Handlers Association.
There will be a dinner on Friday, November 3rd at Casa Ristorante Italiano and on Saturday, November 4th at Don Halls Factory. Both are reasonably priced with dinners from $18.00 to $24.00. A block of rooms will be held until 10/10/17 with rates from $89 – $119. Please call the hotel directly for reservations. The hotel offers shuttle service from Fort Wayne International Airport, 8 am to 10 pm. The rooms are all on ground floor with an outside entrance. There are two special rates offered; $89.00 for a double room with breakfast included and $99.00 for a double with both breakfast and dinner included. You must indicate you are with ABGA when making a reservation. This hotel has an excellent restaurant and bar. The bar offers music and dancing on Friday and Saturday night.
A private room at the hotel has been reserved for an AKC sanctioned judge’s education seminar on Friday, November 3, 2017, with ringside mentoring on both 11/3 and 11/4.
