National Brussels Griffon Rescue implemented a program called Paws of Winter. This program helps out the increasing older or damaged Brussels Griffon that has lost its home. In a number of cases, the dog does have a loving home, but due to the inability of the owner to care either physically or financially they have no choice but to give the dog up.
NBGR is making all efforts to bring these kids into our program and care for them. This can be sad at times, but in many cases it is uplifting to see how many folks offer to help in different ways. Some foster and others adopt an old one and give it a loving home and attention as it walks down its final path.
In some cases folks can’t foster or adopt and instead “virtually” adopt a dog. This means they make one time or monthly donations to an old fellow of their picking. NBGR so appreciates these individuals.
The Paws of Winter Program is very costly to NBGR and we can use all the financial help we can get if we are to continue this course. It’s the end of the year and if you are like me you make end of year donations about now. Remember us!!!
Please remember the dogs of our Paws of Winter program. NBGR can use direct donations to this program or to an individual dog.
