ABGA Purpose
The American Brussels Griffon Association (ABGA) is a member of the American Kennel Club (AKC). As the Parent Club for the Brussels Griffon in the United States of America, it is responsible for setting the standard against which Brussels Griffons are judged at American Kennel Club dog shows.
ABGA is the linchpin that connects the past, manages the present, and plans for the future. It is the primary guardian that protects and improves the breed in America.
Benefits of Joining the ABGA
All members of the ABGA receive the Bulletin three times per year. The Bulletin is packed with all things Brussels Griffon from conformation standings, articles on various topics including health, grooming and training, club news, beautiful pictures and “Getting to Know You” articles to show results and new title announcements. Our members enjoy the resources of the “Members Only” area of our website and our regular members are entitled to one vote. With a National Specialty and a Roving Specialty held annually as well as multiple Supported Entry shows, there are opportunities through-out the year to meet and greet with fellow Griffon exhibitors and enjoy educational opportunities at our seminars.
Please review the ABGA membership classifications and requirements to confirm eligibility.
